Trunk or Treat!

Tonight we headed to my Sister's church for their annual Trunk or Treat.  The kids were thrilled to put their costumes on and get some yummy candy :) Plus they got to hang out with their cousins, which is always fun!  Hubby had a golf date with a friend, so the kids and I headed across town to keep ourselves occupied. Sister insisted I dress up too...  Chris Kratts (aka Brother), Minnie Mouse and a bumblebee...ready to roll!
I thought Brother's costume turned out pretty well. I had to make it b/c they don't have "creature power-suits" from Wild Kratts at the store, but I thought it looked pretty close :)  He could even change out his "creature power" by changing the disk on the front of his shirt.  B10 could tell who he was (& probably anyone else who actually watches the show, but it isn't quite as well known as some of the others.)  I liked Sister's antennas too...pipe cleaners on a headband...she loved it, ha!
Before visiting all the cars and getting candy, we took the opportunity while it wasn't packed yet to grab some dinner...hotdogs, chips and capri suns - perfect!
Little Shepherd GO joined us for dinner too :)

Next we grabbed our trick or treat bags and made our way around the parking lot...if you haven't caught on, or never been to a "trunk or treat" before, people decorate their cars, sit by the trunks and pass out candy.  It is a really cute and a great, safe, fun way for the kids to get candy!  Sister loved this car b/c they had a Mickey Mouse :)
Above they are in line to get more candy... the kids had a lot of fun walking around together.  Cheese!
After we finished walking around the cars we headed into the gym so the boys could slide down the big slide and the little girls could bounce (& go potty :)
They also had some cute games set up for the kids to play...pick a duck...
yay!
 fishing for treats...
and a giant pumpkin.  We had a lot of fun! I am really glad that we decided to go.  It is going to be a busy weekend, but that's how we roll.  Love it!
 Showing off their loot!

You guys are so cute ... :) Can I say that to you even though you're my OLDER sister?? (I mean, you're littler, right?) ;) Love Sister's antennas ... I want a matching costume – can you pull that off before Monday? Ha! :P I love you!
