Roap Trip (3) Revisited

So today we continued our road trip with a quick ride back to Pearl b/c my Daddy was in town :)  It wasn't in the original plan a few weeks ago, but I was thrilled when I found out he would be there for a few days.   It was a good opportunity to get to hang out and not have to drive 9 hours to Ohio.

Sister was excited to see Granddaddy, but she was pretty thrilled to see Zipper again too...
I think he might have been thrilled to see her too, ha!
He even sat still for some kisses :)
Thrilled, right?!  He posed for a few pictures too.
I can't even begin to explain to you how awesome I think this backyard is...so, I am not going to try.  It will probably make me emotional.  I love hearing stories about my Dad and Uncle playing back there as kids and I think it is beyond amazing that my kids play back there too.  Love it!
Brother broke out the bow and arrow to show Granddaddy and Great Granddaddy his "skills".  Then Great Granddaddy was awesome and very industrious and fixed the arrows that Brother had accidentally broken and tightened the string show his arrows would fly farther...very cool!
Meanwhile Sister played tag with Granddaddy... (she is the smear running away :)
I think he was trying to hide behind me...it didn't fool Sister!

 Gotcha!
Uh oh...I think they got him.
Sneaking up on the kids...boo ya!
 Enjoying our time together...

Not sure what this look is about, but that is my girl :)
 Tag!

We only stayed for one night since we had to get back to ATL for school the next day, but it was a great visit.  Our plan was to take our time getting home and squeeze in one more surprise, b/c that's how we roll!

We loved our time together!  I can't believe October is almost over already!

I love Sister Sheep and Zipper - that cracks me up! (Especially the picture of Zipper alone with his ears in the "Yoda" position).

Looks like ya'll had a blast just visiting and hanging out. I think that's the best kind of vacation there is!
