Getting back into the swing of things

Here we are!!  Sorry for the delay in all the back to school fun!  I can't believe that we are already at the end of week 2 (or that it is September for that matter!)  Hopefully cooler weather is on the horizon.  School is going great.  The kids had a blast their 1st week and are loving every minute.  I am VERY lucky that they love school and we don't have to deal with any crying, etc.  I am trying to stay organized, which means washing clothes on Monday and using our hanging "shelves" to lay out their clothes for the week.  I pack lunches the day before while they are napping and dinner is cooking and the house stays picked up b/c we are barely ever here :)  So, we are moving on into September still ahead of the game for now!  The pictures are from the kids 1st day at school.  I got them ready, but Hubby took them for a special breakfast at CFA before bringing them to school...it was one of those days were I love our schedule!

I can't believe how big they both look.  Sister is in the 3 day 2yrs and Brother is in the 4day 4yrs (the BIG kid hall! He LOVES it!)

I made them hold a sign, so I wouldn't forget what year it was...looking back to last year was so funny to me.  Sister didn't have any hair! She has grown up so fast!

Their book-bags from last year were in great condition, so we used them again.  I love them and their names are already on them...big plus!

They both got some new shoes ("kicks" at our house)...I think it was their favorite part of the 1st day of school.

A few more pictures waiting for the doors to open.  There was  really long line, so I am assuming from this picture Hubby got there pretty early.  Good job Hubby :)

Brother didn't even look back, he found his classroom and ran on in.  It is going to be a great year! I can't wait to hear all about it :)

Thank you to everyone who has been hanging in there with us! September is going to be a busy month.  We have school, a consignment sale (come if you live close...it is awesome!), a trip to California, Hubby's new work schedule and doctor's appointments.  I am sure it will be filled with many adventures and (hopefully) many blog posts.  Thank you for praying for us.  We are so blessed to have so many people who love and care for us.
