A Stone Mtn CHRISTmas

We spent Tuesday evening at the Park my MIL works out.  We always have a blast when we go and she hooks us up with some great deals, so it is always friendly for our checkbook too.  It rained a little that night, but we didn't let that deter us.  We had a great time! The kids enjoyed seeing all the lights and the festivities.  I love getting to do special things during the holiday season :)

Hugging as we were waiting for the Snow Angel to come.

More pics with me & Brother...

Here she comes!

Sister wasn't to sure about her...

They both did a good job sitting with her though.  My MIL helped make the costumes, aren't they great?  They were excited to meet her grand-kids :)

Next, we headed to the 4D theater to see some of Polar Express.  None of us had seen it before, so we all loved the show.  I am pretty sure Sister didn't move the entire time.  She loves wearing the glasses and watching shows!

Brother waiting to enter the doors!

After the show we went and grabbed some dinner while we waited for the parade to start.  It ended up getting rained out, but it worked out well b/c we ended up going to see Grandma and the show she was working out.   Sister was excited to see her!

I am pretty sure she stole her hat and started doing her job...

Stay behind the line!

The tree was beautiful! I LOVE Christmas lights.

We got front row seats for the show.  It was terrific.  Sister was able to dance and Brother could see the show easily.  I was very impressed by the amount of Christ they kept in Christmas.

After the show we realized we were running a little late to catch the train, so we stopped by to say Hi to Santa and we grabbed a quick bite to eat.  Sister did not want to sit with Santa, but she realized he was giving out candy and decided it was worth it.

The last thing we did was ride the Christmas train... Brother had been asking to ride it since we walked in the park.  He was SO excited.  We made sure to ride after 6pm b/c they stop during the ride and tell the Christmas Story.  I loved it.  It was probably my favorite part of the night.  It was a wonderful way to spend our Thanksgiving break.

MIL is amazing at sewing. The costumes are beautiful - and Sister Sheep's face is priceless.
